The La Retraite Legacy
The La Retraite Legacy is our thriving Alumni Programme, bursting to the seams with accomplished, creative, driven and compassionate La Retraite graduates, all of whom have made their mark on our long history of success for which we pride ourselves on.
Our alumni have progressed to study an impressive variety of subjects at a range of leading universities, including Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions, whilst others have forged successful careers in a number of sectors including politics, law, television, the arts, marketing, teaching, media and publishing, medicine among many more, whilst holding many notable accolades to their name, from MBEs to PhD’s.
Members of our Legacy share a sense of kinship towards their La Retraite family and are graciously welcomed back upon their return. By joining the La Retraite Legacy, alumni become part a network of active, well-connected and career-minded individuals who contribute back to our school by supporting current students in a host of ways, including mentoring and support, guest speaker opportunities, supporting career-related events and much more.
Our unique Legacy Book showcases the powerful and diverse pathways that our students have embraced since leaving our school and how their journey at La Retraite empowered them to achieve.

Cynthia Erivo Returns to La Retraite
We were thrilled to recently welcome Cynthia Erivo, one of our distinguished alumni, back to La Retraite. She fondly reflected on her time at the school, remembering performing in the dance studio, and shared her journey from our classrooms to the world stage.
Cynthia also sang with our choir, creating a truly memorable experience for our students and staff alike. Her visit was recently featured in a BBC Radio 1 video, highlighting the incredible impact that our alumni continue to have and the inspiring opportunities available to our current students.
