School Fund
We ask every family to contribute to the School Fund a voluntary contribution of £70.00 per year for the duration of your child’s time at the school. Payment of the £70.00 is optional as to whether you pay annually or on a monthly basis i.e. £5.83 per month.
The money we receive from families goes towards meeting the following costs:
- Paying for the free Chromebook your child receives (which costs the school about £80,000 per year for all new Year 7s and Year 12s)
- Duke of Edinburgh trip costs (about £2,000 per year)
- Debate Mate costs (£3,000 per year)
- Subsidy of Music instrumental music lessons (which costs the school £55,000 per year)
As you will probably, know, school budgets have really been hit hard over the last financial year (which has included La Retraite) with school funding from the Government not taking into account a multitude of costs which have risen sharply, and to avoid your child losing out on all the good things that make this school such a great learning environment that enriches their lives, we desperately need families to make a financial contribution.
If you want to support the school and pay £70 per year, you can pay immediately via Scopay (our online payment system) against your child’s Scopay account. Please contact the Finance Staff on 020 8673 5644 Ext 122 or email finance@laretraite.co.uk if you need any advice here on how to pay via Scopay.
However, if you want the option of setting up a Standing Order instead so that you don’t have to remember to pay each year or each month, then please complete the following Standing Order Forms:
i) For a monthly payment of £5.83 per month , then please click here to complete a Standing Order Form
ii) For an annual payment of £70 per year, then please click here to complete a Standing Form.
Please return the form to the school and the Standing Order can be set up by the Finance Staff
OR
If you use online banking you can set up your own Standing Order without completing a form. Please can you then notify the Finance Staff that you have set up the Standing Order and notify them of your child's name and your name.
A big thank you!
