Sports Day and Culture Day
Sports Day
Sports Day was a great success, with students taking part in a wide range of events including the long jump, high jump, track races, tug of war, three-legged race, and javelin. The day ended with the ever-popular staff relay. We are grateful to the Sixth Form students who kindly volunteered their time to help. With warm sunshine throughout the day, the atmosphere was fantastic. Beating Patience House by just 13 points, congratulations to Hope House, who narrowly secured first place and were crowned this year’s Sports Day champions

Culture Day
Arguably one of the best days of the term, Culture Day was a fantastic celebration of the diversity within our La Retraite community. Students proudly wore cultural dress and took part in a range of activities, including cultural quizzes, bracelet-making workshops, cultural performances, films and a Ghanaian singing workshop led by our Tour Choir.
Our catering team also joined the celebrations, serving a delicious selection of Lebanese and Greek-inspired dishes. Each year, the menu changes to showcase different cultures through food.
