La Retraite Hosts Lambeth Phoenix Awards

We were proud to host this year’s Lambeth Phoenix Awards at La Retraite, welcoming students, authors, and community leaders to celebrate a shared love of reading and the written word.

The evening featured special appearances by renowned authors Jason Reynolds (@jasinbath), Nathaniel Lessore (@NateLessore), and Emily Randall-Jones (@erandalljones), whose stories and insights left a lasting impact on our students. We were also honoured to welcome the Mayor of Lambeth and representatives from Lambeth Council to this uplifting event.

Organised in partnership with Lambeth Libraries and the Phoenix Project (@LambethPhoenix), the awards recognise outstanding achievements in literacy and the creative efforts of young people across the borough.
