This year was a bit different from the rest of the years, as this year we had Year 7 Welcome Liturgy instead of Year 7 Welcome Mass.

Each class had their separate Welcome Liturgy due to Covid 19 restrictions. The students contributed very well to the Liturgy by participating in prayers and reflecting on the reading from the Gospel of Matthew which was on ‘Parable of the Sheep and the Goat’.

Lara, Year7, commented, "The Welcome Liturgy at La Retraite was a good way of welcoming students. The parable of the sheep and the goat which was reflected upon during the Liturgy taught us to love and help others as best as we can."
