We were thrilled to receive wonderful feedback about one of our students in Year 9, from a member of the staff: “I would like to share some positive news with you - I was on my way home and I came across a La Retraite student upset - as I was walking her back to school – a student in Year 9 Hope - stopped us and said to the girl - "I just want to say, I don't know you, but I've seen you around, but I really hope you are okay" and gave her a big hug. This is exactly what the student needed in that moment, and it was such a beautiful act of kindness and community. She is a shining example of what a La Retraite student is and after looking her up on SIMS I am not surprised to see such an amazing amount of achievement points. Please do pass on my gratitude again”
