At the end of April, students and staff across La Retraite celebrated Earth Day. However, our actions to support and protect the environment are not limited to one day a year – the La Retraite Eco Team make great effort all throughout the year and across the school to encourage positive actions and contributions. These include:

• Recycling dry writing instruments
• Recycling crisp packets and correctly placing waste in the correct bins
• Recycling batteries
• Using scrap paper
• Donating books to the library and gardening tools and plants to the gardening club
