52-week contract (term-time plus 2 weeks is negotiable)

Salary: NJC Scale PO6 (£54,684 to £57,626) although a higher scale could be negotiable dependent upon the degree of relevant experience

Due to the retirement of the current postholder at the end of August, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and efficient Business Manager to join our forward-thinking Business Management team working under the direction of the Director of Business & Operations.

The main responsibilities of the postholder are to:

  • Oversee the efficient and effective financial management of the school
  • Manage the generation of additional external revenue to the school’s budget which is currently about £400k per annum mainly through hiring out the school’s facilities
  • Be the main school link between the school and the new Parent Staff Association and helping to develop a regular fundraising stream
